‘Ghost in the Machine’ Will Be On Display at the Wine Cellar and Bistro in Lenoir Through February

Dec. 5, 2012. A collection of black & white photographs entitled Ghost in the Machine will be on display at the Wine Cellar and Bistro now through February 2013.  These images were created by local photographer Jack Daulton in the abandoned factories of Lenoir, Granite Falls, and nearby counties.

The photographs tell the story of these wonderful old structures and recall the history of the area.  They ask us to remember our past and the generations of people who filled these once bustling, now quiet spaces.  Daulton’s strong use of line, light, and shadow reveals the graphic beauty still found in these neglected spaces.

The Wine Cellar and Bistro is open for Lunch Tuesday – Friday and for dinner Wednesday -Saturday and is located in uptown Lenoir at 128 Main St NW.
