Anderson Named Interim Chair of Geology Department
June 7, 2012. Dr. William P. Anderson Jr. has been named interim chair of the Department of Geology at Appalachian State University. Anderson has been a faculty member at Appalachian since 2004. Prior to coming to the university, he taught at Illinois State University and Radford University. His research interests include aquifer recharge, groundwater/surface water interactions and the study of climatic influences on groundwater resources.
