The 21st Annual Jones House Summer Concerts on the Lawn Series Kicks Off Tonight, June 7, at 5 p.m.

June 6, 2013. Starting at 5:00 p.m. each Friday evening in the summertime, folks gather on the beautiful lawn outside of the historic Jones House off of King Street in Boone to listen to great music, meet up with old friends, and enjoy a good night out in the warm summer air.

Ensemble Stage Opens Summer Theatre Season in Blowing Rock With Mother/Daughter Comedy

June 13, 2012. A 13-year-old daughter dealing with her mother’s budding romance is guaranteed to be difficult, and possessing a genius level IQ won’t change that. Moon Over The Brewery, which opens at the Blowing Rock Auditorium June 16, is a tender comedy that tells the story of extraordinarily intelligent and precocious 13-year-old Amanda as she navigates the dangerous territory of her mom’s budding romance.
