The annual Spring Hughlene Bostian Frank Visiting Writers Series will kick off on Thursday, March 20 at 7 p.m. with Gina Myers: poet, editor and publisher. Gina Myers will present at 7:30 p.m. at the Table Rock Room located in the Plemmons Student Union at Appalachian State University.

Stores will open at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15 and the party will last all day long. “There are around 20 participating stores in downtown Blowing Rock,” said Jess Wehrmann of Monkee’s who is coordinating the event.
