The Sun Belt Conference Adds Appalachian State University Men’s Soccer for 2014 Athletic Season

Appalachian State Univesrity men's soccer, which was originally slated to remain in the Southern Conference as an associate member, will instead participate with 17 other Appalachian State sports in the Sun Belt Conference beginning in 2014. The Sun Belt announced on Tuesday that it is reintroducing men's soccer as a league-sponsored sport after a 19-year hiatus.Read more...

Annual People of the Planet Soccer Tournament to be Held April 1 at Watauga High School

Feb. 27, 2012. BOONE -- Adult and youth soccer players are invited to participate in the 6th Annual People of the Planet Soccer Tournament. The tournament, part of Appalachian State University’s Diversity Celebration,  will be played on the turf fields at Watauga High School on Sunday, April 1, from 9 a.m.- 6:30 p.m. Admission is free.
