April 19, 2013. Two local Girl Scout Troops will be hosting the Annual Girl Scout Dessert Tasting Event and Silent Auction will be held on Sunday, April 28 from 2:30-4:00 p.m at the Boone United Methodist Church Family Life Center.

Aug. 20, 2012. Horse Helpers of the High Country’s third annual raffle and silent auction, “eat.drink.bid,” will take place on Thursday, Sept. 6 from 5 to 9 p.m.at Blue Ridge Mountain Club’s Watson Gap Pavilion. Raffle Drawing and Close of Bidding is at 8 p.m.
