Nov. 26, 2012. The Mountain Laurel Quilt Guild will hold its Christmas luncheon and meeting on Thursday, Dec. 6 at noon. They are meeting at the Grace Lutheran Church, located at 115 King St. (caddy corner to the Daniel Boone Inn) in Boone. Make a pot holder in whichever manner you choose and enter the pot holder contest.
Oct. 22, 2012. The Mountain Laurel Quilt Guild will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, Nov. 1, at 1:30 p.m. The guild will meet in the conference room on the second floor of the Senior Center on Poplar Grove Connector in Boone. They will be making kits for donation quilts.
Aug. 7, 2012. Calling all quilters! Come to the Ashe County Farmers Market for a great day of learning the art of quilting and just plain fun from 9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Look for the Big Tent setup in the grassy area behind the shelter and bring your machine and a chair.

The Mountain Laurel Quilt Guild will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, June 7, at 1:30 p.m. They will meet at the Grace Lutheran Church, 115 King St. (caddy corner from the Daniel Boone Inn). They will meet at the church to use their kitchen. The Quilt Guild will be installing new officers.
