Todd Bush Scenic Photography Exhibit Open in Linville’s Dickson Gallery of Cannon Hospital until March 1, 2014.

A new photography exhibit opened to the public in Linville this week, featuring photographer Todd Bush. A High Country local, Bush runs a commercial photography studio with his wife in Banner Elk, and has had his work published everywhere from book covers to magazines. Bush’s photography showcases the beautiful elements of the natural world that he hopes will inspire people to get out and enjoy the beauty of the High Country.

March 29, 2013. Between 1996 and 2007, Debbie DeVita, a local photographer, took a series of ten portraits of mothers and their infants which were hung in the Watauga Medical Center’s Birthing Center in Boone. With the recent passing of DeVita, one local photographer is determined to place the photos with their subjects.

ASU Professor Published in Grateful Dead 3-CD Set

Aug. 28, 2012. Chip Williams, an assistant professor in Appalachian State University’s technical photography program, has added a new name to his list of clients: The Grateful Dead. “Dave’s Picks Volume 3,” a newly released Grateful Dead CD, includes five of Williams’ architectural photographs of Chicago’s Auditorium Theatre.
