Kitten and puppy season is here, and shelters across North Carolina are finding their kennels full. To help to remedy this problem, the Watauga Humane Society in Boone has announced their $15 Spay/Neuter special, where you can get your furry friend fixed for just $15.

The Watauga Humane Society to Hold Third Annual Perennial and Herb Sale Saturday, May 18

May 17, 2013. The Watauga Humane Society will hold its third annual Perennial and Herb Sale on Saturday, May 18, from 8:00 AM-12:00 PM in the parking lot of Precision Printing, 1302 Blowing Rock Road, in Boone. Prices will be $.50-$5.00, and all plants come from well-established gardens. 100% of proceeds will benefit the shelter’s spay-neuter program.
