Grandfather Mountain Profile Trail Parking Lot Will Be Closed Aug. 21-24 for Large Tree Removal
Aug. 21, 2012. The Grandfather Mountain profile trail parking lot will be closed Tuesday, Aug. 21 at 8:45 p.m. until Friday, Aug. 24. All vehicles must be out of the parking lot by 8:45 p.m. on Tuesday. This closure is to allow park staff to remove a few large trees that may pose a threat to all visitors and vehicles in this parking lot.
