ASU Series Addresses Death Penalty in NC and the US; Final Program Happens Tomorrow in Belk Library

Nov. 26, 2012. The final in a series of programs addressing various issues related to the death penalty will held at Appalachian State University tomorrow. The presentation begins at 6:30 p.m. in Room 114 Belk Library and Information Commons unless otherwise noted. The public is invited.

Watauga Democratic Party Hosts Third Cash Mob – $1,500 Spent at Miller Farm Supply, Hill Top Drive-In

Sept. 26, 2012. The Watauga County Democratic Party started out its third “cash mob” in Zionville Saturday morning, visiting David G Miller Farm Supply, where “mobbers” bought everything from rain boots and gardening hoes to fresh eggs. The group then crowded into Hill Top Drive-In for old-fashioned milkshakes and burgers.
