Aug. 27, 2012. Includes photo gallery! This year, despite Friday afternoon thunderstorms, an estimated 3,000 people jammed out at the first ever three-day music event from Friday, Aug. 24 to Sunday, Aug. 26. Surprisingly, last year, the festival lasted only two days, attracting about 6,000 fans. Read more...

Aug. 24, 2012. Music on the Mountaintop has confirmed the second round of artists slated for the fifth annual three-day music festival Aug. 24-26 outside of Boone.
