June 4, 2012. CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — The Appalachian State Mountaineers fell to Oklahoma twice in a doubleheader on Monday night and were eliminated from the NCAA Playoffs in regional play.

June 4, 2012. CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — Appalachian State University baseball scored six runs in the first two innings then received clutch pitching and fielding performances the rest of the way to defeat top-seeded Virginia, 6-5, on Sunday.
June 2, 2012. The Appalachian State Mountaineers baseball team took game one from Oklahoma 5-4 on Saturday, June 2 in Charlottesville, Va. The win comes after a very strong pitching performance from Ryan Arrowood, going 7.2 innings with nine strikeouts and giving up only two hits. Infielder Trey Holmes also had a stellar performance, hitting on 3 of 4 plate appearances.
