Oct. 31, 2012. On Friday, Nov. 2, downtown Boone will be taken over by the monthly First Friday Art Crawl. Like always, this month’s crawl will feature food, drinks and live music with work and exhibitions from local artists. Everyone is invited to come out and enjoy some Friday night fun.

Sept. 5, 2012. Lucky Penny, a women’s clothing boutiqe with affordable and unique fashions and located on King Street in downtown Boone, will have art crawl happenings on Friday, Sept. 7 from 7-10 p.m., including jewelry artist Kayt Warren.
Feb. 24, 2012. BOONE — Tonight at 8 p.m. two downtown businesses are teaming up to present their 2012 spring fashion show, Le Grand Voyage. Twice a year, Lucky Penny and Shear Shakti put on a fashion show for their customers showcasing the season’s fashions with contemporary hairstyles and makeup. In addition to a fashionable evening, the entertainment lineup is complete with live music from up and coming Charlotte based electronic music duo OK Disconnect.
