June 21, 2013. The second annual Festival of the Book will kick off on Saturday, June 22, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Watauga High School. Sponsored by the Friends of the Watauga County Library, the festival will allow participants to join authors, exhibitors and other bibliophiles for a day of literary celebration.
June 3, 2013. The Watauga County Public Library Reference Department will host a Photography Contest that will run from June 2nd – July 29th. There will be an Adult and a Children’s Division.
June 3, 2013. Readers of all ages will “dig” reading this summer as Watauga County Public Library presents “Dig into Reading” during their summer reading program, which begins June 12th. Children will learn about birds, gem mining, magic, science, mind reading, reptiles, and more through stories, crafts, music, dance, and other activities.
