Farmers’ Markets Around the High Country Provide Local Products for the Summer Residents and Visitors

Farmers’ markets all around the mountain region are gearing up for the 2013 summer to share their local wares with the residents and visitors that eagerly await the opening of the markets from the start of our famously harsh winters.

‘Ghost in the Machine’ Will Be On Display at the Wine Cellar and Bistro in Lenoir Through February

Dec. 5, 2012. A collection of black & white photographs entitled Ghost in the Machine will be on display at the Wine Cellar and Bistro now through February 2013. These images were created by local photographer Jack Daulton in the abandoned factories of Lenoir, Granite Falls, and nearby counties. The photographs tell the story of these wonderful old structures and recall the history of the area.
