Electronic music fans in Boone have something to get excited about. The Rain Drops Tour, headlined by Colorado artist Paper Diamond, will come to Legends at Appalachian State University on Wednesday, Jan. 28. Doors will open at 9 p.m. Tickets are currently available to purchase online at the Legends website or at the ticket desk in Plemmons Student Union, which is open Monday through Friday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Corey Smith will rock the stage once again at Legends on Feb. 5, hosted by the Concerts Council of the Appalachian Popular Programming Society.

May 1, 2013. John Darnielle will bring his solo performance to Legends music hall May 1at Appalachian State University. Doors open for the performance at 9 p.m. Advance tickets are $10 for Appalachian students and $12 for guests and at the door.
April 15, 2013. The Concerts Council of the Appalachian Popular Programming Society brings critically-acclaimed Pretty Lights recording artist Gramatik on April 23, 2013 to Legends. The performance will feature an eclectic bill of electronic and dance-inducing blend of beats with support from Cherub and heRobust for the last rave of the semester.
Nov. 14, 2012. Lee Brice will bring the national tour of his Deep South, heavy-hitting country music to Appalachian State University on Sunday Dec. 2, 2012 at 8 p.m. at Legends night club on campus. Local band Blue Country will open the show.

Oct. 23, 2012. Toubab Krewe will be hitting up the high country this Halloween. On Oct. 31, 2012, the Asheville-based band will be appearing at Legends in Boone hosted by the Stage Shows Council of the Appalachian State Popular Programming Society.

Oct. 18, 2012. The week begins with the Appalachian Studies Benefit Dance at Legends on Oct. 19. The dance will run from 7-11 p.m. and feature the Half-Runners with caller Jesse “Hot-Pants” Edgerton. Tickets are $2 for students and $3 for guests. There will also be cake walks and a tag sale.
Sept. 5, 2012. Five-time Grammy-winning musician Victor Wooten will bring his captivating band to Legends at Appalachian State University on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $12. The show is 18 and up. Wooten comments, “There’s something for everyone – music and messages for every age.”
Aug. 27, 2012. BoomBox is in the midst of their summer tour and will be playing festivals and shows across the country. They will perform at Legends on Thursday, Aug. 30. The show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance for students and $15 at the door. This event is for 18 and up only.
Aug. 21, 2012. The 12th annual BIG Sale at Appalachian State University diverted 72 tons of material from the landfill and raised $21,690.62 for local organizations through the sale of used goods Saturday, Aug. 18. The proceeds of Saturday’s sale will benefit two local organizations: The Children’s Playhouse and a partnership between Hospitality House and NC AIRE that provides energy efficiency mini-grants.
