After Four Days on the Run, Inmate Who Escaped Roan Mountain Work Detail is Captured in Wilmington
Oct. 3, 2012. An inmate who walked away from a minimum-custody work crew on Tuesday has been captured. Grady Edwards, 36, was being housed at the Northeast Correctional Complex-Annex when he left a work detail in Carter County. The Tennessee Department of Correction’s Office of Investigations and Compliance tracked Edwards to a location in Wilmington and apprehended him.
