Annual Queer Film Series at ASU Starts Today with ‘Wish Me Away’; ‘Rocky Horror Picture Show’ on Oct. 30

Oct. 23, 2012. The 13th Annual Queer Film Series at Appalachian State University features Wish Me Away, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Facing Mirrors and Bully through November. All Queer Film Series movies are free and open to the public, and discussions will follow the films. Guest speakers include professors from the Theater and Dance and English departments.

Theatre and Dance Presents First Year Student Showcase Sept. 27-29; Honors 100th Birthday of Studs Terkel

Sept. 18, 2012. The Appalachian State University Department of Theatre and Dance introduces fresh actors and dancers in its annual First Year Student Showcase in the intimate I.G. Greer Studio Theatre on campus. This combined theatre and dance performance will be presented Sept. 27-29 at 7:30 p.m.
