April 22, 2013. The students at Watauga High School have done it again. Through their Empty Bowl Project, the students raised $8,800 to benefit the Health and Hunger Coalition, shattering their previous record of $8,100 by $700.
Aug. 13, 2012. The health fair is Tuesday, Aug. 14, and is being held from 7 to 11 a.m. at Blue Ridge Electric’s Watauga district office located at 2492 US Hwy 421 S, Boone.
March 22, 2012. The 11th annual Empty Bowls Supper to benefit the Hunger and Health Coalition will be hosted at Watauga High School on March 24, from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m.
