Are You New to Medicare? Avery County Senior Center will Host an Educational Session on Sept. 20

Sept. 11, 2012. If you or someone you know is approaching Medicare age, the Avery County Senior Center staff would like to help you understand what you are getting into. The Avery County Senior Center will be holding an educational session to assist individuals learn the basics about Medicare.

Watauga Small Business Center Offers Free Seminars

July 19, 2012. Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute’s Watauga Small Business Center will host several free workshops for High Country entrepreneurs and businesses. The Grant Writing workshop will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 14 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Appalachian Enterprise Center located at 130 Poplar Grove Connector in Boone.
