NC Sterilization Victims Denied Compensation; Watauga County Has Dark Past Involving Eugenics Practices

Victims of involuntary sterilization in North Carolina will not receive compensation after state legislators voted against eugenics compensation program funding as part of the 2012-2013 fiscal year budget adjustment bill June 21.
