July 9, 2012. High Country Audubon (HCAS) will hold their 2012 Annual Meeting at the Elk Valley Preserve and Field Station on Tuesday, July 17. They will begin with a bird walk at 5 p.m. and continue the tradition of enjoying a potluck dinner. Bring your own plate, cups and utensils to reduce waste.
May 17, 2012. High Country Audubon (HCAS) will have its next meeting Tuesday, May 22 at 6:30 p.m. at the Watauga County County Library in Boone. The monthly meeting on May 22 will feature a presentation by NC Audubon’s Curtis Smalling. Curtis Smalling will speak on “Putting your land to work for Birds: Opportunities, partnerships and programs.”
