C. Shreve the Professor on His New Album, Upcoming Shows and Bringing a Teaching Perspective to Hip-Hop

Lecturer-turned-rapper Chris Shreve and his High Country hip-hop collective Free The Optimus (FTO) have been quite busy this summer, and neither has any plans to slow down. A recently dropped album, a tour including an upcoming show at Boone Saloon and Wednesday night freestyle rap battles keep C. Shreve The Professor busier than your typical lecturer.

Hip-Hop Collaborative Free the Optimus Opens Ears and Minds at Boone Saloon Jan. 30 as Part of Just Bust Tour

Hip-hop collaborative “Free The Optimus,” will make a stop in Boone on Thursday, Jan. 30. Performing at Boone Saloon, Free The Optimus will be joined by A-plus of Souls of Mischief, C. Shreve the Professor, Quanstar & Evaready Raw, with an opening act from Greensboro MC, C. Pitt. Through their music Free The Optimus urges listeners to think outside of the box and to not be restricted by the status quo.
