Aug. 22, 2012. Despite a 5-3 recommendation from the Planning Commission to approve a rezoning request for the proposed Clawson and Greene Multi-Family Development, the Boone Town Council voted unanimously to deny the request at the regular meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 21.

Aug. 14, 2012. The Town of Boone Planning Commission met on Monday, Aug. 13, and voted 5-3 to recommend the Town Council approve the rezoning request presented at the Aug. 6 quarterly public hearing.

Aug. 2, 2012. Boone could potentially be set to have another new large apartment complex just north of Perkinsville Drive, pending the outcome of a re-zoning request submitted to the Town of Boone on Monday, July 23, 2012. If approved, the complex has an anticipated completion date of August 2014 and would have 266 units containing 546 bedrooms.
