Blue Ridge Electric members can monitor energy usage online or or via the MyUsage App to start taking control of utility bills today.

June 5, 2013. Blue Ridge Electric Membership Corporation and the cooperative’s propane and heating fuels subsidiary, Blue Ridge Energies, LLC, are now using the former High Country Bank building at 176 Shadowline Drive in Boone, close to Harris Teeter, as a temporary customer service office.
Oct. 29, 2012. Line technicians and all other employees of Blue Ridge Electric Membership Corporation are on high alert, ready to respond should outages occur as a result of a major storm event predicted for the cooperative’s service area.
Aug. 23, 2012. Katie Woodle has been named Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Blue Ridge Electric Membership Corporation, a member-owned electric cooperative serving some 74,000 consumers in northwest North Carolina with its corporate headquarters in Lenoir.
Aug. 13, 2012. The health fair is Tuesday, Aug. 14, and is being held from 7 to 11 a.m. at Blue Ridge Electric’s Watauga district office located at 2492 US Hwy 421 S, Boone.
June 27, 2012. Mr. Quentin Wheeler was the Watauga district winner randomly selected to win one of four HD TVs recently awarded as part of Blue Ridge Electric Membership Corporation’s director elections/annual meeting. Along with Mr. Wheeler, more than 7,500 members voted by mail or Internet in the cooperative’s director elections. A proposed rule by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), aimed at curbing greenhouse gas emissions and reducing coal as an energy source for new power plants, could have a wide range of effects on High Country residents economically and environmentally, according to local businesses and organizations.
