Avery County Humane Society Celebrates Grand Opening Aug. 18; Tour the Center and Meet the Animals
Aug. 2, 2012. Avery County Humane Society is celebrating its public grand opening Saturday August 18, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the New Vale Road facility, located behind Ingles Food Center in Newland. Tours of our animals, adoption and education center, will be available. Meet local and county officials, as well as our shelter staff and volunteers.
