Cooperative Extension Hosts Chicken Harvesting and Winter-Feeding of Sheep, Goats Workshops in October

Oct. 5, 2012. The Watauga Cooperative Extension Center will offer two classes in the coming weeks pertaining to chicken harvesting and winter feeding of sheep and goats. On Saturday, Oct. 13, the Agricultural Conference Center hosts a workshop designed for the backyard chicken producer or for anyone interested in raising chickens and harvesting their own meat.
