Boone Bicycle Initiative Receives University Support
June 26, 2012. The Boone Bicycle Initiative (BBI) was recently awarded $1,819 through Appalachian State University’s Greek Week Mini-Grant program. BBI was selected to be one of four local agencies receiving funds raised during the 2012 Greek Week event. This generous award will help to strengthen the program by covering general operating expenses while also providing the resources for the BBI to expand and offer more services.
