Super Bowl 50 will mark a major milestone for us here in Carolina, especially for those of us who have been wholeheartedly following the Panthers for more than 20 years now.

Known in their hometown for their thrilling and sometimes nerve-wracking tendencies on the field, the “cardiac cats” claimed the NFC Championship a few weeks ago with a 49-15 win over the Cardinals.

Folks from the team’s two home states make up its passionate, loyal fan-base, and Panther fans across the country look forward to its second Super Bowl appearance in franchise history.

The cats have a chance to make Carolina football history as they prepare to take on the Denver Broncos at Levi’s Stadium, home of the San Francisco 49ers, on Sunday.

Super Bowl 50 will kick off at 6:30 p.m. ET on CBS.

Some lucky fans will get to travel cross-country to see the Panthers take on the Denver Broncos this weekend. However, most of us are looking for the best local seat in town to catch the game with our friends and neighbors.

If you’ll be in the High Country, there are more ways than one to get in on the excitement. Check out our guide to local Super Bowl festivities, make your plans for the weekend, sport your best black and blue and get ready for some serious fun!
