Recreation management students are helping to organize and implement the race as a hands-on learning experience. Zack Morgan, who helped organize the event last year, said, “The Black Saturday 5K last year was fun and exhilarating event that energized all of the participants before the game! I definitely intend to be a part of this race in the future for the great cause and the amount of fun I had last year.”
Help support our students to become professionals in the recreation field while experiencing a fun and engaging Saturday morning. For more information, visit 5k.appstate.edu.
