Sept. 19, 2014. Tomorrow’s football contest between the Appalachian State Mountaineers and the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles will take place at Carlisle-Faulkner Field at M.M. Roberts Stadium, Hattiesburg, Miss. But for those of us still in the High Country, Mountain Television Network will show the game on Channel 18 for Charter Communications customers.
“We will be showing the game tomorrow,” confirmed Leo Rich, Sales Manager of Mountain Television Network. “We are also going to start running a lot more games in the future.”
Kickoff for the game will take place at 7 p.m.
Mountain Television Network, “Your Active Superstation” is based in Boone and serves 23 counties in Western North Carolina. The channel is inclusive of Charter, Skyline/Skybest, Wilkes County Cable, Ashe County Cable, Piedmont, Caldwell Charter, Morris Broadband, American Cable, Country Cable and worldwide on www.mtn18.com.
Four other television stations in North Carolina will carry the game as well: WMYV (MyTV 48) in Greensboro/Winston-Salem/High Point, WRDC (MyRDC 28) in Raleigh/Durham, WMYA (MyTV 40) in Asheville and WWAY-2 in Wilmington.
For those who prefer to listen to the game, Saturday’s game will be broadcast live on the Appalachian IMG Sports Network.
