Get Out and Ski at Sugar Mountain

The snowflakes tickle your face, the wind hugs you tight, your nose drips a tiny bit, and your skis glide effortlessly over the fallen snow. Your blood circulates through your body in the most thankful way and your heart rejoices with every fresh pump of natural energy while your inner joy sings out loud because today is what winter is all about at Sugar Mountain Ski Resort.

Yeehaw!, yahoo!, and even some yodeling can be heard over and over again as skiers and snowboarders hoot and holler their way down everyopen slope on Sugar Mountain.

Six inches of snow have already fallen. Another fourteen is expected throughout the day and into tomorrow. Eighteen slopes and six lifts are currently operational and it’s possible all twenty-one slopes and each of the eight lifts will be active in the morning. View the webcams for a real time look at the slopes. Ice skatingsnowshoeing and six lanes of tubingare also currently open.
