Tickets for App State’s football opener against Howard University are still available for purchase online at appstatesports.com, by phone at (828) 262-2079 or in person at the Appalachian State athletics ticket office, located at the Holmes Center.
The contest versus Howard is being promoted as “Hall of Fame Day” because of the induction of the 2015 Hall of Fame class (featuring legendary coach Jerry Moore, football stars Armanti Edwards, Chip Hooks and Daniel Wilcox and cross country/track and field standout Leigh Cooper Wallace). These athletes will be recognized during the game and will be apart of the season-opening activities.
Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 5, at The Rock (aka Kidd Brewer Stadium). Single game tickets for this contest – and all other home games except for the Oct. 22 contest against Georgia Southern – cost $32 for adults and $22 for kids aged 3 to 12.
The contest against Georgia Southern in October costs $35 for adults and $25 for youth.
A limited number of Hall of Fame Packs, which include four tickets for just $79, remain on sale in honor of Appalachian State athletics’ star-studded 2015 Hall of Fame class.
New for 2015 is the “South Hill Grass Family Fun Zone.” General admission seating on the South Hill with your family costs just $99 per ticket. Blankets are allowed on the South Hill, but outside chairs are not allowed to be brought into the stadium to sit on at the South Hill.
“It’s a great way to spend the afternoon with your family and enjoy this unique perspective of Kidd Brewer Stadium,” a release notes.
