Several hundred Appalachian State students were among the thousands of Mountaineer fans in attendance at Michigan Stadium in 2007 when App State stunned No. 5 ranked Michigan, 34-32, in what many consider to be the greatest upset in college football history. The game was played in front of a crowd of 109,218 – the largest to ever witness an Appalachian State sporting event.
A limited number of tickets are also still available for the general public to purchase for the much-anticipated rematch at the Big House. Tickets can be purchased online at appstatesports.com/tickets or by phone at 828-262-2079.
