The USASA Southeastern Series is hosting its final race of the season at Appalachian Ski Mtn. on Saturday, March 11.
USASA Southeastern Series Race Director Andy McDaniel said the final competition will essentially serve as a “tune up” for those who qualified as nationals in Colorado and as an “all-out fun event for the last race of the season” for everyone.
“We’re going to be on,” McDaniel said. “There is still a lot of snow at App. It’s going to be a good event. We are going to do it up.”
After the race, organizers will work with the participants on technique, passing, starts, mindset and attitude. As always, festivities of the last race include a snowboard raffle, goodie bags, awards ceremony and tee shirts for participants.
