April 8, 2013. Despite a hard fought bout this past Saturday evening, the Appalachian Rollergirls fell to 0-2 on the season on the road against the Vett City Vixens of Bowling Green, Ky., by a score of 201-141.

The Vixens jumped out to an early 57-7 lead on the Rollergirls after two power jams and never looked back. They led Appalachian 123-67 at the half and never looked back, despite a tough push by the Rollergirls.

This is the second time in two seasons the Rollergirls have dropped a bout to the Vixens, having lost to them last summer playing their second match in two days after having faced the the Music City Brawl Stars of Nashville the day before.

The Rollergirls will be back in action on Saturday, May 4, to take on the Atlanta-based Apocalypstix at the Holmes Center in Boone.
