By Maria Richardson

June 24, 2012. What do roller skates, nicknames, girls in the High Country and rad costumes have in common? The Appalachian Rollergirls (ARg)! On Saturday, June 23, the roller derby took place at the George M. Holmes Convocation Center. ARg faced off against, and beat, the Chattanooga B Messie Smiths 183-50. The proceeds of the raffle went to the Eric Ford Family.
