With four months to go before the Sept. 10 home opener versus Old Dominion, Appalachian State University has already surpassed the number of full football season tickets that it sold in 2015, assistant athletics director for ticket operations Teresa Eggers announced on Thursday.
Appalachian State exceeded last year’s full season ticket sales on Thursday and is on pace to reach its 2016 goal of 7,500 season tickets.
Sales remain brisk and, therefore, season tickets are now limited in some seating areas at Kidd Brewer Stadium. For example, season tickets in sections 208, 209, 217 and 218 are SOLD OUT.
The only way to guarantee seats at The Rock for the much-anticipated 2016 home schedule, including the Sept. 17 showdown versus five-time national-champion Miami (Fla.), is to purchase season tickets and become a member of the Yosef Club (at the $100 annual level or above) as soon as possible.
Season tickets are available online at appstatesports.com/tickets or by phone at (828) 262-2079. To join the Yosef Club, visit appstatesports.com/yosefclub or call (828) 262-3108.
Season-ticket holders are also urged to participate in the Yosef ’16 season ticket holder referral program. In addition to being able to share the experience of gamedays at The Rock with family, friends, neighbors, co-workers and alumni, Yosef ’16 participants can earn great prizes.
