With just 10 days remaining until Appalachian State University football’s highly anticipated 2015 season kicks off versus Howard on Sept. 5 at Kidd Brewer Stadium, Appalachian State athletics will share one new or updated aspect of the one-of-a-kind football experience at The Rock each day until the campaign begins.
The Kickoff Countdown begins with Wednesday’s announcement that Appalachian State will host its first-ever Kickoff Luncheon on Friday, Sept. 4. The event begins at 11:45 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 4 on the Club Level (fifth floor) of the Appalachian Athletics Center.
Tickets for the inaugural Kickoff Luncheon cost just $20 for a buffet lunch and program hosted by the “Voice of the Mountaineers” David Jackson. Head coach Scott Satterfield and a selected Mountaineer student-athlete will also be in attendance to share their thoughts about the upcoming season, provide a scouting report about the very talented Howard Bison and answer questions from the crowd.
Space for this special event is very limited. To reserve a seat while space remains, call the Appalachian State athletics ticket office at (828) 262-2079 between 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday.
