Camellia Bowl Celebration Set for Jan. 23 During B-Ball Games at Holmes Center

A celebration of Appalachian State University football’s historic 2015 season and 31-29 win over Ohio in the Raycom Media Camellia Bowl will be held in conjunction with the Mountaineers’ basketball doubleheader versus rival Georgia Southern on Saturday, Jan. 23 at the Holmes Center.

The celebration will include an autograph session with Appalachian State football student-athletes and coaches, the opportunity to take photos with the Camellia Bowl championship trophy and a halftime recognition featuring head coach Scott Satterfield.

The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a FREE poster commemorating the Mountaineers’ 2015 football campaign and Camellia Bowl triumph.

The football celebration is included in the price of admission to the hoops doubleheader versus Georgia Southern. Tickets cost just $15 for adults and $10 for youth (ages 3-12) and can be purchased online at appstatesports.com/tickets, by phone at (828) 262-2079 or in person at the Appalachian State athletics ticket office, located at the Holmes Center.

Conclusion of women’s game (approximately 3 p.m.) until beginning of men’s game (3:45 p.m. or 45 minutes after the conclusion of the women’s game, whichever is later):
