The Watauga County Board of Elections met on Tuesday to appoint precinct judges for the 2015 municipal elections.
The Watauga County Democratic Party and Watauga County Republican Party submitted nominations, which Elections Director Matt Snyder said where the exact same as last year.
The list of precinct judges approved unanimously last night is presented below by district. Note that because the current governor is a Republican, the local GOP has two judges to the Democrats one.

INFORMATION POLICY
In addition, the Watauga County Board of Elections instituted an information policy at the behest of Elections Director Matthew Snyder. Secretary Bill Aceto said that having a record of requests would be prudent.
The following policy is written on the county elections website:
If the information you want is not publicly available, you can submit a Request for Information to the Board of Elections Office. The request simply must be in writing and reasonably describe the records you seek. You may mail your request, email your request, or stop by the Board of Elections Office and fill out a request form.
