Jan. 22, 2015. It looks like U.S. Rep. Virginia Foxx got another autograph from President Barack Obama after his 2015 State of the Union address earlier in the week.

An image of Foxx standing in front of Obama, who had a pen in hand, went viral after Equality NC Executive Director Chris Sgro posted it on Facebook on Tuesday night with the words: “OK I hope everyone else just saw Virginia Foxx excitedly receive the President’s autograph. #awkward.”

Following his speech, Foxx went on to slam Obama in a statement sent to the media. Foxx called Obama’s proposals “outdated” and said he “appears to mired in the past.”

In 2010, multiple media outlets reported Foxx doing the same thing after Obama addressed the House Republican caucus retreat in January of that year. Following that retreat, Foxx tweeted: “Pres gave us another lecture. Our guys asked great questions. Need independent fact checker for his comments. Got autograph.”

In 2010, the White House confirmed Foxx’s Twitter account to the Huffington Post.
