Feb. 11, 2013. The White House recently announced that President Obama will visit Asheville on Wednesday. His arrival to the liberal city follows his State of the Union address, where Obama will discuss proposals “that focus on strengthening the economy for the middle class and those striving to get there.”

The time and location has yet to be determined. On Thursday, Obama will head to Atlanta and then on Friday to Chicago.

Above is a photo of when Obama came to Boone in the fall of 2011 as part of his American Jobs Act bus tour.
