Aug. 30, 2013. Greg Brannon, a “constitutional conservative” candidate vying for Democrat U.S. Sen. Kay Hagan’s seat in 2014, will appear in Boone on Saturday, Aug. 31, to speak his position on a variety of issues and answer questions from the public about his candidacy.

According to release for a prior event held in Ashe County, “Brannon is a Christian, pro-life, pro-family, Tea Party, Constitutionally conservative Republican physician.”
“His conservative platform includes his pledge to defend the 2nd amendment, cut taxes, balance the budget, protect the union, repeal Obamacare and protect North Carolina’s sovereignty under the 10th amendment,” the release continued
As for the upcoming Harvest House meeting, Brannon’s website notes that campaign contributions are appreciated and checks can be made payable to “Brannon for U.S. Senate.”
