13,000+ Early Voters in Watauga County, One-Stop Voting Continues Through Saturday

As of Tuesday closing, more than 13,000 voters have early voted in the general election in Watauga County.

Of the six early voting sites, the two sites located in Boone – the Watauga County Administration Building on King Street and the Plemmons Student Union on the campus of App State – are dominating in terms of the number of people casting ballots.

Nearly 7,000 people have voted at the administration building and nearly 4,000 people have voted at the student union. Note that only the administration building in downtown Boone has operated since the first day of early voting on Oct. 20. The other five voting sites opened Oct. 27.

Early voting ends on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 1 p.m. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 8.

  • Admin = 6855 TOTAL / 524 DAILY
  • ASU = 3858 TOTAL / 625 DAILY
  • Blowing Rock = 707 TOTAL / 94 DAILY
  • Western Watauga = 704 TOTAL / 124 DAILY
  • Meat Camp = 463 TOTAL / 94 DAILY
  • Deep Gap = 560 TOTAL / 96 DAILY
