Deborah Anne McKittrick

Deborah Anne Deneau McKittrick, D. Sept. 21, 2012
Mrs. Deborah Anne Deneau McKittrick, better known as “Debbie” age 46, of Lansing passed away Friday, September 21, 2012.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-4:00pm on Friday, September 28, 2012 at the home place at 675 Ray Davis Road in Lansing.

Mrs. McKittrick was born in Easton, Maryland on Monday, August 8, 1966 to the late Forrest and Lorraine Fluharty Deneau. She was an animal lover and enjoyed making crafts. Some of her crafts were shown in shops around town.

She is survived by her husband, Herb McKittrick; two sons, Justin Elliott, of Lansing and Sean McKittrick, of Lansing; two brothers, Troy Deneau, of Delaware and Perry Deneau, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; a sister, Dawn Deneau, of Delaware; several nieces and nephews also survive.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Ashe Suicide Awareness and Prevention Task Force, PO Box 1023, West Jefferson, NC 28694.

Pauline Clark, D. Sept. 21, 2012
Mrs. Pauline Clark age 88, of Independence, VA died on Friday, September 21, 2012 at the Grayson Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Clark was born on March 16, 1924 in Ashe County to Oscar and Lelia Hudler Perry. Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her parents and brothers and sisters. Mrs. Clark was a member of New Home Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Allen Miller. Burial will follow in Tucker Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm prior to the service.

Mrs. Clark is survived by:

1 Daughter: Pat Greer and husband Timothy Cowan of Independence, VA

2 Special Friends: Deborah Blevins & Amy Stamper

several nieces and nephews.

Walter Herbert Boling, Jr.

Walter Herbert Boling, Jr., D. Sept. 19, 2012
Mr. Walter Herbert Boling, Jr. better known as “Herb” age 70, of Crumpler, died on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Boling was born on April 30, 1942 in Miami, FL to Walter Herbert and Wilma McLaughlin Boling. Mr. Boling was preceded in death by his parents and a son, John Boling. Mr. Boling was a deacon and member of Chestnut Hill Baptist Church. He enjoyed oil painting, and was the owner and operator for 14 years of Bees Signs.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 12:00 pm at the Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Randall Greene and Dr. Calvin Miller. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum of Prayer.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, prior to the service at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Boling is survived by: wife – Eileen Boling; one daughter – Pauline Talley and husband Joseph of Jefferson; one sister – Virginia Ruth Norat of Arizona; one granddaughter – Christina Talley of Florida; four nephews – James Smith of Florida, Christopher Smith, Matthew Smith, John Anthony Norat, all of Georgia.
