Oct. 2, 2012. Sugar Grove Developmental Day School (SGDDS) welcomes the Oak Ridge Boys and Carolina Crossing to play Holmes Center for Appalachian State’s homecoming weekend. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 4 with doors at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are on sale now at www.TheHolmesCenter.com and all proceeds will benefit SGDDS, the only nonprofit daycare in the High Country that offers sliding scale tuition.

According to a Holmes Center box office representative, “plenty of tickets are still available” as of lunchtime on Tuesday, Oct. 2.

The Oak Ridge Boys are known for their distinctive four-part harmonies, which blend gospel and country influences. With over 30 Top Ten Hits like “Elvira,” “American Made,” and “Thank God for Kids,” the boys are sure to deliver a legendary performance. All ages are welcome to this family-friendly event.
