June 17, 2013. Sunday afternoon a vehicle collided with the front door of the Verizon Wireless Center off U.S. 421, according to a Boone Police Department report.
The vehicle entered the store, dislodged itself and fled the scene traveling in an unknown direction. The establishment is located at 1586 U.S. 321 in the Gateway Center.
According to the Boone PD report, the vehicle did an estimated $3,000 in damage to the building’s front.
A representative from Verizon could not be contacted before time of publication.
