Appalachian Ski Mtn. has a plethora of activities going on including free kids ice skating, a bonfire with s’mores, 2-for-1 deals, cookouts, pig pickin’, free family ski portraits, moonlight skating, midnight skiing and snowboarding and more.

ASM has celebrated Valentine’s Day weekend bash since its 50th anniversary five years ago, according to ASM General Manager Brad Moretz, who added that it’s been quite popular over the years.

The weather will also be wintery, which is significant considering how November and December were so warm and snowless, aside from a couple dustings.

“We’ll have winter weather, which is great. Hopefully nobody will be golfing,” Moretz joked.
